Texas de Brazil - Orland Park

Texas de Brazil - Orland Park - Orland Park

Do you like meat? Are you hungry? If so, then Texas de Brazil in Orland Park is where you want to go for dinner. With a range of beef, pork, lamb and various sausages -- and an "all you can eat" protocol -- you can be sure that you will leave this Brazilian style steakhouse well-fed.

If you've not been to a Texas de Brazil streak house before (though if you enjoy meat, it's likely you have), here's how it works: you sit down, you flip a table card to green to indicate you want more meat or flip the card to red to indicate you don't want any more at the moment. Then you just keep going from green to red to green for as long as you want. Have a small portion, or a gargantuan helping, it's all good.

The meat is all cooked over the flames by your gaucho servers, who come to the table to slice off still sizzling meat onto your plate.

Meat that is ready to be served to you includes Herb-Marinated Pork Loin, Picanha, Brazilian Sausage, Leg of Lamb, Chicken Breast Wrapped in Bacon, Lamb Chops, Filet Mignon Wrapped in Bacon, Parmesan-Crusted Pork Loin, Garlic Picanha, Braised Beef Ribs, Barbecued Pork Ribs, Parmesan Drumettes, Filet Mignon, Flank Steak, and Petite Filet.

That's a lot of meat, but keep in mind that you don't have to gorge yourself to have a good time. For instance, you can have a Petite Filet and then...the salad bar. The salad bar at Texas de Brazil is spectacular. There is way too much on the salad bar to list, but perhaps you’d like to focus on the specifically Brazilian options, like the Malagueta Peppers, Brazillian Hot Peppers, and Farofa (a toasted cassava or corn flower mixture), and there are many more commonly seen favorites like Shrimp Salad, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and, yes, everyday Romaine Lettuce. You could easily go to Texas de Brazil just for the salad bar. Some surely do.
