Named in honor of the legendary Sophie Gimbel--the American designer who ruled Saks Fifth Avenue's couture department for 40 years in New York--the seventh-floor restaurant is the first of many to open in the luxury retail store's outposts around the globe.
Each eatery caters to its location, offering seasonal ingredients in dishes and drinks. Cuisine is simple, yet chef-driven, with burgers, steaks and salads on the menu.
The Chicago restaurant features a taste of the Windy City with a spectacular view of the Magnificent Mile. It's also adjacent to the newly renovated men's department, The Fifth Man. A full-service bar offers cocktails, craft beers, sparkling wine and a curated wine list.
