My sister and I were spending our last evening in Wilmington, NC. We were there for my brothers Memorial Service, so it was not a pleasant trip for us. We were walking in the rain from our hotel looking for a place to eat. We were tired, it was raining and we were hungry. Ruth Chris’ was the 1st restaurant we saw and decided to try it out. It was more expensive then we anticipated, but hoped maybe we could split a meal. Our server was Austin James, and probably the best server we’ve ever had. Although it was obvious to him, we we we not about to buy drinks or an expensive steak dinner, he showed us a meal we could split and promised it would be excellent. We got a salad, stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and cheese cake for dessert. We shared the meal and it was delicious! And plenty for the two of us. Austin James lifted our moods by entertaining us with his sense of humor, checking on us frequently, doing a little dance and just rising our spirits. Having us laughing and truly making our day brighter…. Which is what we needed that night. Thank you Austin James, Ruth Chris Steak House is lucky to have you as a server! BTW…. we are not two young cutie girls. I am 76 yrs old and my sister is 75yrs old! I hope Austin James remembers us because we will definitely remember him! Summer was the BEST Server I have ever had @ RC! The food, of course, was Excellent ! Oysters Rockefeller, Filet & Lamb Chops and Salad. Delivery to the table timing was Impeccable. The Atmosphere/Ambience/Decor and Music were perfect. RC & Summer made it a Perfect Intimate Celebration.

We dined at Ruth Chris last night around 8:00 pm and was very happy that we had reservations. The place was packed and we were given a great table location near the water fall. The service was incredible and the food just made this one of the best nights ever going out here. I can not say enough on how truly happy that we have a Ruth Chris here in Wilmington and the staff they have from the parking to the manager were all very professional. Thank you again for a truly remarkable night and dinning experience. .

Had a magical evening celebrating my sweetheart’s birthday - impeccable service from our waiter, Jonah. Friendly and attentive! Have enjoyed Ruth Chris in several states, but this was one of my favorites! I wish they would do white linens on the porch for outside dining, so we opted to stay inside for the full experience. Nothing better to pair with a perfectly cooked rare strip steak then their sides of marinated mushrooms (a feast all on its own) and the knock your socks off sweet potato casserole. A treasured evening! We’ll be back.

We went for our anniversary and everything was wonderful. Our server, KJ, was so personable and sweet. Management came by frequently to check on us. The food was delicious. Only down side was it was a little cold in the restaurant m. I will remember to being a shawl next time.

We went to Ruth Chris for the first time on my husband's birthday. It was delightful. We sat in a covered porch area with plants and water feature. Loved it. Husband ordered pork chop (huge), garlic potatoes and Louisiana gumbo. He wanted two more helpings of gumbo. I ordered the petite filet, Cesar salad, and garlic potatoes. Delicious. Both pork chop and filet you could cut with a fork. Had mini cheesecakes and one to celebrate his birthday. So thoughtful. Eric was fantastic! Made sure we had everything we needed.
