3rd Strike Your Out!!! If Your Thinking about Picking up some food to go, or dinning in for a nice meal take a HARD PASS on the Naperville Location!!! This Location is Horrible!!! If you have the time take a drive to their Location on W Taylor St. they still have the Touch!!! Rosebud’s has Always been a Special place for my wife and I as it was one of our first dates some 26 years ago. With Covid I have been ordering my food to go. As a Long Time Customer I’ve grown accustom to a consistent great tasting meal. To put it nicely they have LOST their touch. I always order Veal Parmesan. The last 3 times I ordered my food the tomato sauce tasted like it had a entire stick of butter in it. It also had a Very Strong red win taste. I don’t ever remember red wine being in the tomato sauce. Normally the veal is so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. It was a ruff piece of meet. My entire family was displeased with the 3 other dishes they ordered as well. To Be Honest I’m Sad and Disappointed!!! The only reason I kept going back was thinking It was just an off day. It’s not a Cheap Meal. I went to Rosebud’s not Olive Garden. When the Building Burnt down the New Location didn’t do the Rosebuds name justice. It lost its Romance and nostalgic fine Italian dining. The new location looks like your walking into a Denny’s, but at least at the time the food was good. My Father who raised me was Fresh off the Boat Italian from Messina, Italy So Trust me I know Italian food. I’m still a Rosebud’s Fan just not of the Naperville Location. With the Environment change and Food Tasting Horrible I have to Advice you to Pass, But Not on Rosebuds as a Whole. Take a drive to their Location on W Taylor St I’m sure you will not be Disappointed. #Ricks2Cents
