Moderno - Highland Park
Owned by John des Rosiers (Inovasi), Moderno has a mantra that everything is made from scratch, by-hand with a focus on local, high-quality ingredients. The menu is broken down into Pizzas, Smalls, Salads, Pastas, To Share and Not to Share with the To Share portioned for two to four guests to enjoy family-style.
During the day, Moderno transforms into Pranzo Moderno, located in the restaurant's entrance. The quick-service shop serves made-to-order sandwiches, salads and soups. Menu highlights include the Italian sub sandwich with capicola, soppressata, mortadella, provolone cheese and house-made vinaigrette; PLT panini with prosciutto, arugula and tomato pesto; and a chopped Romaine salad with oven-dried tomatoes, radicchio, olives and a house-made creamy Parmesan dressing.
