We normally order pupusas from here. They USED to have good food. Couple days ago I order to go and the Pupusas barely had anything inside. Not only did they raise the price but the food is not worth it anymore. So disappointing.

Delish Salvadorean food. You got to try their pupusas!! They are the best in Chicago

The was no service 10 minutes later someone came out took my order 40 minutes later dropp off the pupusas so grease the tamale terrible taste the places smell really bad Very disappointing

We are vegetarian: Tamales de elote - excellent Tamales de frijoles - excellent Yuca with Cole slaw - excellent Pupusas- they were accommodating and made vegan pupusas for us. The masa was good. Bean and spinach.

Pupusas were not the greatest. Mostly all cheese very little meat or any other ingredient. Ordered chicken, jalapeno, asada, shrimp and chorizo pupusas. The chicken, chorizo and asada were the ones that barely had any meat at all, I could literally count the few pieces. I also had an order of carne pastelitos and the inside meat was reheated meat and burned, the outside seemed that it was reheated in oil and thrown in there. I will not be ordering from here again, by far the worst pupusas I have tried.

So first this place charged us 18% tip and we didn't know they add it to your check. so we left a $14.00 tip on the table even though one of my corn tamales...

It's a good Place. They are in need of a waitress and a good chef. The food takers a while to be serve. If you want to dinne in this place, order ahead before you arrive.

One server on August 27, 2021 @5pm was greeting customers and waitressing which the food took more than 30mins to arrive for my husband and I. We ordered a beef soup which the tortillas and rice were not included. We had to pay for the tortillas and rice. It’s ridiculous. 5 pupusas and they were small and 1 of them was deformed, not appealing at all. My husband tried to change it but we didn’t want to wait another 30mins so I switched it with mine. When we paid, the server hands me a credit card receipt and told me I didn’t need to sign. I noticed the total seemed high for 2 people so I asked for itemized receipt. As she walked away, I realized prices were higher than the printed menu sheet the server provided. Overcharged 1$ for beef soup, .70 for 2 tortillas I shouldn’t be paying extra for. Overcharged .25 for each pupusa. Shocker she charged 15% gratitude without my consent. “Not sure if it’s a new law they can charge their own gratitude without consent.” Most restaurants charge the gratitude when more than 5 customers, not 2. After 3 hours I went on their website and they have both menus with different prices, old and new. They should make up their minds. Yet, at the restaurant I was provided the “cheaper prices” menu that said at the very bottom and with little fonts, “Prices subject to change without notice.” I am Salvadoreña and I am so disgusted and ashamed by my own people. Will never go again and wouldn’t recommend if you want to wait an hour and be overcharged, go for it. It’s a Zero rating but couldn’t post my review if I gave it 1 star. Owner should embarrassed!

The food was good. I'd return to try more. The thing that held it back from 5 stars is there was only 1 waitress. Sitting, ordering and getting drinks and food each took a very long time. I'd prefer to order to go.

Best Popusa Restaurant in town! Very clean and nice environment.
