Stopped by for early lunch since Hyatt Regency’s restaurant wasn’t open for lunch. We were able to walk here via the convention center skywalk all indoor. The Parmesan garlic wings and Mediterranean chopped salads were both very tasty and fresh. The beers were served in chilled glasses. We had the best seat in the house right in front of the fireplace. The best part was the impeccable service. This is truly a hidden gem within the Hilton Rosemont. Definitely highly recommended!
We had a party of fifteen, so they opened a closed section just for us, which was awesome. Then the kitchen sent out an extra appetizer which they gave us gratis! The calamari was excellent, but my Mediterranean salad was lackluster. I paid almost half as much again for salmon, but the filet was overcooked and smaller than what you'd get in a Gorton's Fisherman frozen pack. The atmosphere is clean and bright, but rather austere compared to the image that comes to mind when one thinks of a New England tavern. I'd happily eat here again, but do yourself a favor and stick to the American fare.
Our server Jenny could not see me waving my arms like the wacky Wacky Waving Inflatable Tube man. Nor ever came to our table. I had to get up and find a server each time. Also she didn't check her tables before going out on a 15 min smoke break. We waited that time and I flagged down other staff to pay. I tipped $15 she deserved $0 and to refund my pumpkin ghnoghi the flavour was prepackaged ghnoghi with a terrible oil for the sauce. I thought they didn't get my order right till I checked the menu then waited for the post food delivery check-in.... It never happened. When I asked for a creme sause or something with flavor not like this they gave me( not the server) chipotle(a spice) aoli.... Seriously you have to have a pasta sause or white sause. The aoli sause was a grocery store shelf stable condiment... That should be refrigerated. My meal was $52.25 then I tipped $15 for 3 ppl. We had a friend join us and was never asked if they want to order
Received a hotel/meal voucher due to a cancelled American Airlines flight. Got to the hotel late on a Saturday night and had dinner at this establishment off the hotel lobby. The service and food were top notch and a welcome surprise after a long day waiting in airports. I ordered the tavern burger medium well and it was prepare exactly that way. Highly recommend this place.
Best staff and service of all time. Luis is a phenomenal bartender and all the staff were super cool and I had a great great time. Thank you!! - Nick
