La Colombe debuted in Chicago with a splash. This Philadelphia-based coffee company is revered on the East Coast, and had been slowly easing its way across the country. In Chicago, numerous restaurants and cafes supply La Colombe coffee, but this West Loop location is their first brick-and-mortar location in the city. Uncluttered by CDs, magazines, and wi-fi, the philosophy at La Colombe is to keep the focus on what they do best: coffee.
