India House- Hoffman Estates

Very good Indian food, the timings were a little confusing and I didn't even know they were open for take out, I just tried and they do take orders. A little more expensive than other restaurants but absolutely worth it, good quantity, packing and the right North Indian flavours. I also checked and they have seating too, entry from the Bombay chopsticks side.

The North Indian items were really good - Khaman was so fresh and the paapdi chaat was satisfying. The South Indian menu items were comparatively less...

Zabardast!!!!!! Go try this place for its amazing middle eastern cuisine. The butter chicken with hot Naan is a slice of heaven. Lamb biryani is unbelievably flavorful.

One of the best dosa I have had. They are bit on pricey side. But with Indian food you get what you pay for. Only thing certain things are bit too pricey....

The biggest quality of Chef Jogmohan and his team is to personalize the events as their own and deliver at that level. His service is unparalleled in the chicago market industry. With many other catering companies, I have encountered the attitude of “oh this is just another wedding and we have to do our run of the mill stuff” but Chef Jogmohan and Chef Dave went out of their way to provide their own unique vision to every event. They helped create a menu to perfectly match our theme and worked with the decor to make the event feel like an enchanting story. India House’s attention to detail right up to the serving plates and cups was on point. My recommendations for india house are of the highest regard. India House catered our wedding and did a fantastic job!! We had Guajarati and Bengali food and while they were definitely more comfortable with Guajarati food, they took my parent's feedback to make wonderful Bengali food! We definitely had complex demands and needed several food tastings, but they were always so accommodating and happy to oblige. The entire team we worked with was great. Jagmohan was so attentive in making sure the food was created exactly as we requested and Madalina was very communicative throughout the entire process. Lilly was great for the day-of coordination. All of our friends and family had nothing but good things to say about the food through out our wedding weekend!

We catered food for my son's wedding reception a few weeks ago and the food was amazing. Every guest at the reception had nothing but accolades for menu and the taste of every dish from snacks to desserts and to top it all the paan. Thanks for serving the most delicious meal at our sons wedding.

Don't buy sweets here !!! Negative stars - was gonna buy a few boxes and upon looking closely at the checkout counter , saw mold . Went back and checked...

I recommend this place beyond the stars here. Our table ordered masala dosa with potatoes on the side, paper dosa, Mysore dosa, rava dosa and chole bhature....
