Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre

Opened in 1926 as a motion picture palace, designed by George L. and Cornelius W. Rapp for theater managers Balaban and Katz, the Oriental is one of Chicago's most beautiful theaters. Run by Broadway in Chicago, it stages mostly touring companies and pre-Broadway tryouts.
