Long-time friends Steve Demeter and Jon Bobbett decided to collaborate on a steakhouse concept in Portsmouth, N.H. But they didn't want it to be just any random steakhouse; they wanted it to reflect the absolute best aspects of steakhouses they'd experienced during their travels.
With Demeters Steakhouse, Bobbett, a former footwear executive, and Demeter, a third-generation restaurateur, their dreams could be realized. Their passion for prime steaks, the best wines and great music had a major impact on the restaurant's concept.
Diners may order classic steak cuts like filet mignon, New York strip or cowboy ribeye, or they may request the evening's selection of butcher cuts and prime chops.
