Bonci is the brainchild of Gabriele Bonci, an Italian-born chef declared the “Michelangelo of Pizza” by Vogue Italia magazine. He has garnered a dedicated following not only in Italy, but around the globe, for his perfected "al taglio"-style pizza inspired by his Roman roots. With more than 1,500 different recipe creations, he is excited to share his unmatched passion for pizza for the very first time across European borders.
At this West Loop location, the pizza selections change daily, and customers order them at the quick service counter "al taglio"-style, with the staff cutting each slice with scissors to their liking. The pizza is priced by the weight of the slice.
Examples of pizza selections include potato, mozzarella, rosemary; egg, bacon, Pecorino cheese; tomato meatball, parmesan cheese, parsley; and chicken, artichoke, olives, black pepper.
