Acclaimed food and lifestyle photographer Huge Galdones leads a phone photography workshop at Travelle at The Langham on Saturday, August 17 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Galdones – whose clients include Food & Wine, Taste Network, and The James Beard Foundation – is based in Chicago but shoots all over the world. With a love for everything related to food and hospitality, Galdones’ unique perspective and approach to photography focuses on more than just making the viewer hungry, but documenting the culinary process, as well.
Class participants learn tips and techniques from Galdones while enjoying brunch from Travelle at The Langham Chef Jeff Vucko and Pastry Chef Danielle Marelli. The photogenic brunch includes Travelle’s new cinnamon roll for class participants to glaze, photograph, and enjoy. Piping bags with frosting will be set out so guests can capture action shots while icing the cinnamon rolls. For the second course, a choice of Salad du Marche, Chicken & Waffles, and Avocado Toast is offered. Lastly, class participants enjoy shared Banoffee Bread Pudding and Citrus Dream Bar.
