An Early Taste of Taste of the Nation

One of the best charitable food events of the year, Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry, returns October 5 with a culinary lineup that’s better than ever. Taking place at a new venue, Revel Fulton Market, the annual affair brings together some of Chicago’s top chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists all for the good cause of ensuring all children get the healthy food they need. Proceeds from the event go to No Kid Hungry to help end childhood hunger in America. 


Taste of the Nation

The walk-around style event features a dizzying list of chefs and restaurants, who will be doling out bite-sized dishes for attendees to sample. This year’s lineup includes Acanto, Blackbird, avec, The Gage, Nellcote, Shake Shack, Swift & Sons, GreenRiver, RM Champagne Salon, Bin 36, Allium, Cafe des Architectes, The Blanchard, and more. 

At last year’s Taste of the Nation event, Chicago raised enough money to provide more than 1 million healthy meals to children in need, with proceeds going to local outlets like The Illinois Hunger Coalition, the Greater Chicago Food Depository and EverThrive Illinois.
