We’d heard about the Friday fish fry so we decided to give it a shot. We both grew up in Wisconsin so we know our fish fries and what a “Wisconsin bar” should have. We were SO happy we went! My family had a place on Lac Courte O’Reilles outside of Hayward and we have a donor brick at the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame so imagine how I felt seeing these pictures! The fish was perfect! We also had the Woody-style poutine, cheese curds and an old fashioned. It definitely felt like home away from home. Other than being really crowded it was a great time.

Love this neighborhood bar, def order some cheese curds (with extra ranch!) and the ruben when you come. I've gotten it 4+ times and have never been disappointed! (Pic attached) The bartenders are super friendly and there are 5 dart boards you can play on, I suggest going to play in the back room since there is more space. Plenty of TVs everywhere to watch any games on also. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5

Very friendly people to talk to. They made it easy cause normally I'm very shy. I highly recommend this place. And Great food and selections of beer!

Good beer and food is fine for the bar. The Cheese Curds were SUPER breaded so I was disappointed. Surprisingly large inside!

Favorite neighborhood bar, and can get a High Life for $4! Definitely would recommend renting out the private room for a party, if you have the chance.
