Hands down the best fish monger in Chicago. You know how I know? Because the Fish Guy will not stock items that are not in season. Sign up for the email; I’ve learned so much about different fish types, what sustainable fishing really is, and some great recipe ideas. I won’t buy fish anywhere else in Chicago, it’s not worth it.

How did I live in Chicago for so many years without knowing about this place? Everything I've purchased from them has been high quality--scallops, clams, mussels, fish, lobsters, oysters. Even the in-laws from New England were impressed at the freshness of this place. Prices are a bit on the high side, but you definitely get what you pay for and it's so worth it.
