I wish there was a rating less than 1 star. The security with a gap between his teeth (very ugly) did not let a poor girl sit on a chair when her feet were hurting. He also said they would never get in. He started making fun of people. I have never been to a bar that bad and disrespectful. I recommend Rockit, the bartender was amazing!! Also Mercer sucrose go there instead!

Extensive beer menu (and great price too!! I had to ask the bartender if it was happy hour price or if it's always like that), great service. Can't imagine going anywhere and getting good quality craft beer at $4~6 like here. Never had the food so can't really comment on the food. Sit at the bar and you get great service and awesome people watching.

Vinyl is actually a really cool bar. I love the vinyl records and music atmosphere. The drinks are good - I recommend the Merika Mule. I went for a happy hour with co-workers and we had a nice big table and ordered lots of appetizers. The truffle fries and nachos were delicious!

This is the best place to start your Friday night off at, if you're planning to drink in River North! Vinyl has the best priced drinks in the area, with beers as cheap as $3. They also have $6 margaritas and half priced tacos on Fridays. There is rarely a wait for a table too.

A new bar recently opened in River North and I expected great things from them. After all, River North is so HOT right now, that any new bar has to at least be up to par. This wasn't so much the case. The bar looks like any other bar you would find anywhere else. Nothing inside reflected why it was was called Vinyl. The drinks and food menu was only so-so. Nothing was spectacular.
