This place is as big as the United Center. I really think you can play a basketball game here. Nice ambiance. Outdoor patio rocks, and that is where the...
Great option in what has rapidly become a great downtown area of Aurora along the river. Dining area is fun to hang around with all of wonderful beer...
We were traveling through and stopped to check this place out. I'm so glad we did. The food is INCREDIBLE, the waitress was above our expectations, so friendly and attentive, and the buildings history was incredible to see and learn. I can not even begin to explain how amazing the flavor is in all the dishes we tried, it was all just so perfect. But what I will try to explain is the lemon 🍋 dessert cake that literally melted in our mouths and burst with just the right amount of lemon and vanilla. Ok you have to go try it! I decided I needed to walk off dessert and snap pictures of the building and was doing this when the owner came up to me to tell me about other pictures to check out. He then offered us a tour. I was so excited! I love history and old buildings. We were able to learn so much about this place and all that it holds in its walls. The staff, owners and food are all incredible and it houses a whole lot of things to do.....coffee bar, bar, restaurant, karaoke, comedy shows, paranormal explorations, there is a brewery, a ball room for weddings, and outdoor gorgeous area for lots of fun and so much more I know I'm forgetting. This is a must stop, must see place. I'm so thankful we made it a stop on our trip.
What an amazing space! Architecturally astounding and definitely an incredible space for a wedding venue! The staff is extremely friendly and supportive, and the space is massive to fit a ton of people both inside and outdoors. The history of the building truly makes you appreciate the care Two Brothers has taken to keep the rustic charm yet also have a fun modern feel to it. I would definitely recommend this as a place to get married and have a reception! They have it all!
Had dinner here on Saturday January 7, 2023 after attending a show at the Paramount. My wife and I are not overly picky patrons, but felt this experience needed to be shared. We requested a couple of small samples of the beer before making a final choice. Five minutes later the waitress returned with the bad news. The bartender was "too busy" to pour a couple of shot glass sized samples for us to try. TOO BUSY? I swallowed my tongue in order to avoid lashing out at the waitress. For dinner my wife chose the New York Strip, I chose the prime rib. I also had a salad. Sadly, the salad was the best part of the meal. It was down hill from there. The only issue with the salad was the pieces were so large that I had to cut them with a knife to make them bite size. The New York strip, ordered medium, was gristly and tough. It came with tasty fries, but it took so long for the waitress to bring ketchup that we were halfway done with our meal before she finally arrived with it, and by then the fries had cooled and were no longer tasty. And, we were seated just a couple of tables away from her station! The prime rib was ANYTHING BUT PRIME. What should have been the most tender part was tough and chewy, even though it was ordered medium rare. This was NOT a prime cut. It was more like a reject from a choice cut. It came with roasted vegetables, a mixture of overcooked, mushy, lukewarm zucchini and other similar squashes. The mashed potatoes that came along with it were also literally cold. It's obvious the plate sat around for quite a while before being picked up and brought to us. As we weren't interested in staying much longer than necessary to eat our meal, we opted not to return any food to order something different, and hopefully better, off of the menu. We will not be eating here again and would never recommend eating here to anyone else.
