I ordered the spinach omelette with a side of turkey sausage links. My daughter had the apple pancakes and a yogurt smoothie. We shared everything. The pancakes were not overly fluffy, sprinkled with powdered sugar, which I like, and the were just sweet enough that syrup became optional. Ordered some breakfast and coffee to go on a Friday morning and was very happy. I had to request a rush and the restaurant did indeed help me with a fast order. The food, coffee and service were all good. They have a nice location with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Would surely recommend it if you are in Chicago and in the area.
Hidden gem and well worth a visit. Knew it would be good when we entered and saw how busy it was. Service was fast and friendly. Enjoyed the Poor Man's Skillet with 3 poached eggs and toast. Great food, good sized portions and reasonably priced.
