Sullivan's Steakhouse - Charlotte
Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood is known for its vibrant locally owned eateries as well as the likes of destinations like Sullivan's Steakhouse. The two-story brick building, which is surrounded by lush trees in the Steel Yard complex, offers guests hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, signature cocktails, and lively music.
There's happy hour Monday through Thursday with $7 bar bites, including cheesesteak eggrolls, crab cake sliders, and a Nashville-inspired hot chicken sandwich. And for dinner, the offerings are expanded for share-able dishes as well as main entrees.
Highlights on the appetizer menu range from beef Wellington bites to crispy Shanghai calamari. That certainly gets guests ready for the main event, particularly bone-in and house-cut steaks. Each arrives with a Caesar, wedge or market greens salad. Non-steak entrees include Ahi tuna steak, seared sea scallops, and crab-stuffed shrimp.
