The ultimate chicago dive bar - truly an iconic locale. Only heads up is that when it’s a busy night, seating can be hard to find. Strong drinks & good vibes.

It was fine, I live close by and I've never been in. it's a dive bar just like another dive bar in Chicago. Yes, the drinks are cheap. But I really don't see what all the hype is about. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

It's just as I remembered it back in 1995. Good people, great service and reasonably priced drinks. It's CASH ONLY, so make sure you're ready for that. Overall, it's a really great time.

At first as a young 23 year old I felt out of place at an older bar but as my group got settled we really enjoyed the time we spent there. Only drink service here but there are booths with tables, so I'm pretty sure you can bring outside food in as long as you clean up after yourself I'm not sure (I ate my tacos there and wasn't told anything). Great service, good music, and a pinball machine with a surprise
