Presidio - Chicago
The modern Bucktown cocktail lounge takes its inspiration from Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area. Presidio's slick, welcoming interior is ideal for settling in for drinks or staying for dinner.
During warm weather, the front room floor-to-ceiling windows open to the street. That's especially comforting and a great place to people watch during brunch. During those hours, diners may nosh on unique dishes like chicken-fried shrimp and grits, as well as drink the Sunday pisco punch.
The dinner menu consists of mostly seasonal items, but what's certain to be available all the time are dishes like the crab dip, honey mustard-glazed Amish chicken and the signature double burger, which is grilled and topped with American cheese, special sauce, caramelized onions and a pickle.
