PR Italian Bistro - Chicago

Authentic Italian fare gets a boost with this North Side eatery by a Venetian-born chef. Stefano Roman has transformed his former Pizza Rustica into PR Italian Bistro, featuring more sophisticated offerings to complement Italian comfort cuisine.

The tiny trattoria showcases house-made pizzas and pastas, plus a daily blackboard menu. The popular weekend brunch takes on an Italian focus with rustic sandwiches, pastas, pizzas, frittatas and smoked fish boards. There are bottomless mimosas available as well as a bloody mary bar.

Happy Hour occurs during the week from 5 to 6:30pm. There are also small plate, beer, wine and cocktail specials.

This place was awesome. Non traditional / progressive Italian bistro - Michelin star quality at reasonable prices. The specials we had were phenomenal (lobster bisque, beet stuffed ravioli with a honey glaze, etc.). Very impressed with this place. Always a hit with our guests in from out of town.

Amazing atmosphere! Some of the BEST bartenders I ever encountered and the service was beyond amazing. They were full yet it was like I was the only one there with the attention. Incredible staff & I'm not from the city. Can't wait to go back!
