Chicago pizza. Best in the city no doubt, the atmosphere is convivial and the food is amazing. Be prepared to wait for 45 minutes after the order as the food is prepared on the spot and you can recognize the quality of all the ingredients. As it is all fresh, you can even bring some back home and freeze it: never know when you feel like having a last minute slice on a lazy evening. Margaritas are great and the selection of beers is wide. Recommended to show up at opening time on the weekend as the place fills up very easily. Great value too. Update on June 2022: great experience as above + great service from John (whom I didn't meet in the past). Loved his professionalism and aptitude towards the customers, worth getting back to this review.

A Chicago institution. Great staff. Very pleased to discover they can make your pizza with non-dairy vegan cheese! The 2 urinals in the men's bathroom are comically close together.

It was a total blast. I had the White Pie with the garlic knot as side and it was my best pizza experience in my life. I ate pizza in Roma, Italy, Berlin, Portugal and many more. But this little Restaurant with cool and nice people around made it to my personal #1. will never forget.

A must-go in Chicago downtown. Don't look further: the best dish pizza ever! The cook everything from fresh ingredients so that, if you make a to go box, is even possible to freeze everything. You wait 45 minutes as they prepare your pizza from scratch. While you wait, the shrimp dip is fabulous.

If you’re going to get deep fish pizza you better come here. I never really liked deep dish till I came here. Great atmosphere and service and it’s in the basement of the building. How cool is that?? Plus they have spumoni!! So good!!!!

The bad: We had a reservation and got a table 20 minutes after the selected time. Even though the table that we got was ready since we arrived. The lady who was the manager or in charge at the time was rude to us and kind of condescending. We ordered some wings as appetizers and were cold when we got them. Beer took a very long time to get. The good part: The thin crust pepperoni pizza was great! Awesome flavor, great sauce and was cooked perfectly. The deep dish was also very good, but we all agreed the thin crust was better. To summarize food was good but due to short staff what could have been a great experience was just an ok one.
