Parson's Chicken & Fish

I’ve heard so many good things and finally was able to move it from my “to eat” to “would recommend” list! Great vibes on the outdoor patio, not too crowded. Kid and dog friendly, but a group of 20-somethings also got right in. Great drink menu and of course the chicken sandwich was the star of the show. Our server was nice and service was speedy. I love that you have space to grab a drink, play a game, use the Photo Booth or just sit on the side while you wait for a table. Definitely will return!

Always a great meal here! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Keep telling myself to try something other then the chicken sandwich but it’s so good! Need to visit for Happy Hour, Mon-Thurs 3-6p for $10 Parson’s Fried Sampler!

I was a dine-in guest and let me tell you. The only reason that it was good was because the lovely waiter brought me and extra shot. And I needed it because the food was so overpriced. For a place that is called “parsons chicken and fish” you would believe that it would do well at the two options that they have labeled on their menu. Fish and chicken are so hard to mess up. And Parson’s also has a difficulty partaking in the failure. Yet somehow, even though their food is so mediocre, they chose to charge civilians so much for it. And do not get me wrong, the employees that work there are amazing. They are great waiters And staff that care to every need. Yet it is not their fault that the food is absolutely not worth the price range that they charge. If it was up to me, all of their food would be charged at a chick-fil-a price while I gave the rest of the money to those who actually work there.

The best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Spicy with a great crunch but juicy on the inside. Better than Hattie B’s in Nashville! The fish was also perfectly cooked. Enjoyed the sample platter. I wasn’t expecting much from the michelada but it was surprisingly delicious.

Laid back feel. We sat in their outdoor seating section which is made up of long bench tables with umbrellas. Good atmosphere, very friendly & attentive wait staff. Will definitely go back to try out the ping pong table.

Great place to grab a drink and some fantastic fried chicken and fish. Reason for rating: From the refreshing, cold drinks, the hot and tasty food, the fun and inviting atmosphere, to the reasonable prices and helpful staff, Parson's is a place that I will come back to again and again. It is on the short list of places to take out of towners, or for hanging out with new friends.

First time in & would love to go back! The drinks were fantastic. The food was sensational (got the blackened fish & grits) & everyone was super cool. This local has an outdoor area with umbrellas so get there early & have the most excellent dining experience.

Hands down one of my favorite places in Logan Square. The large outdoor area is great with good vibes, ping pong, and dog friendly. The hot chicken (sandwich or loose prices) is delicious and so is the fish! Wash it all down with a "cheap beer" or a negroni slushy. This is a summertime must!

This place was nice. Lots of good service and food. The hostess didn't have a bra on and this was very uncomfortable for me. Yes I know lots of people like it like that and maybe this will increase the number of people going there to have a look. For me this was very unsettling and I don't think I'll be going back.
