The owners of Homeslice and Happy Camper have opened yet another pizza-obsessed eatery. Paradise Park is located in Bucktown, only a few doors down from long-time pizza and craft beer joint Piece.
In addition to a large variety of pizza choices, the kitschy, cheery establishment features a camper and trailer park theme. There are actually a couple of real campers parked on the premises.
But back to the pizza. Diners may order it by the slice, by the calzone (vegetarian to meatball) and whole. Highlights include Strike A Posner (romas, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan, and pesto base), Bennett's Beauty (pepperoni, italian sausage, mushrooms, marinara) and Funky McChicken (roasted chicken, bacon, spinach, red onions, roasted garlic, romas, parmesan, cream cheese base).
Customers may also custom design their pies by picking a sauce and adding toppings.
