Old Crow Smokehouse - Schaumburg

Mediocre drinks and Food. went with three friends, had couple of rounds of drinks and a few appetizers, the sliders and tacos were ok, the poppers was bad. What really got me ticked was that one drink I ordered was a regular Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey which was listed as $9 and they charged me $12 for it, stating that whiskey was 9, the "rocks" (ice) was $2 and they made a mistake of an extra $1. So 9 (whiskey) + 2 (ice) + 1 (a mistake) = $12. What kind of a place charges for ice???...anyways..I am not going back to this place.

Slow service on a not busy Saturday evening. I had the brisket sliders. The brisket itself was really tough. Fries were tasty. Overall a mediocre experience.

A overall very disappointing experience. Food was awful, we didn't even eat it. Bland, undercooked, but decent serving sizes. Service was the worst I've ever had, bold statement but quite true. First time there and no one came to greet me, I was forced to walk to a group of servers standing and talking at the bar. Overall look of the staff was unprofessional and trashy. No knowledge of the menu nor personable and helpful. Our waitress brought us drinks while chewing on her pen, i said thank you, and she grunted at me and didn't even take the pen out. The feel of the restaurant is very rustic and i loved that. It's obvious that who ever picked the stools chose them for the look and not comfort. They were awkward and uncomfortable to sit in. The music and beer was good. Based on the service and food i will never return.

Great spot for a drink, entertainment, and barbeque. Well worth the expense.

My only complaint is the slow service. I realize it was a Friday night and the staff is still getting up to speed, but we waited noticeably long to be acknowledged at the table, then for drinks, and eventually for food. The food was excellent and the portions did not disappoint. Drink menu was diverse and had something for everyone in our party. Mojitos were good. I would go back.
