Location Permanently Closed! Always fresh bagels in the morning. Best bagels in the city of Chicago. Also has good selection of fresh (not pre-packaged) breakfast and sandwiches. Friendly, fun counter service, when tipped, everyone says "thank you " in unison.
Great deli sandwiches and sides. I especially like The Benny, which is a tasty twist on the roast beef sandwich. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the quality. Lines at lunchtime can be a bit long, but it moves quickly.
Delicious, real boiled bagels. The only place around Illinois that seems to actually get their bagels cooked the right way, not just baked. Great toppings and services. Awesome cream cheese. Not too expensive.
Great spot for lunch in the loop. The bagel sandwiches are huge compared to the competition, and the value is even better. They run out of certain bagels on busy days, so try go avoid the lunch rush if you're looking for something specific. The staff is great as well. Enjoy!
One of my favorite and go-to places to grab lunch. Every sandwich I have gotten from here has been consistently excellent. They do not short you on the meat and they are using Boars Head quality meats. I personally feel that the dressing on the sandwiches are a little too much, making the sandwich a bit sloppy but, I’d rather have too much than not enough. They have a good variety of breads, meats, toppings, and sides to choose from to make a nice lunch. This place is a bit pricey for a bagel sandwich but, it’s worth it to trip to try it at least once if you are in the area. Expect to spend around $10 - $14 (rounding) per person. The staff is normally excellent as well. They turn around orders quickly even during peak hours. I’ve never stood waiting thinking “this is taking a long time”. Overall, good food, good staff, good location, good experiences.
