It simply doesn’t get much better when it comes to bagels and sandwiches. The wait in line time is going to be quite long most days but the food items are well worth the wait. All the bagels are exceptional and pastrami and whitefish sandwiches are just as good. But then turkey pastrami and salmon are equally good so… I usually end up buying them all. They also have variety of soup and other items I haven’t tried yet. They pack in so much in such a small space. It is an experience to visit.

Excellent Bagels, Excellent Pastrami sandwich, Excellent Quality. When it comes to the potato pancake and the mushroom knish, a bit more seasoning wouldn't hurt. Hubby is a NYC Boy all the way. He could be taken out of the City but the City can never be taken out of him. He thinks the bagels here are the closest he has ever gotten to those of NYC. We pretty much live in a Deli Desert, Oh, for the "Good Old Days" so this is the best and closest to us since we can't get on a plane every time we want a pastrami sandwich. By the way, as far as we are concerned, the Deli that seems to come to most peoples' minds when "Chicago Deli" is mentioned is overrated so it doesn't work for us.

Very good bagels, excellent shmears. White fish. Lox and nova (always nice when they have both). All great. Busy but efficient. Take out only.
