Going on the Odyssey dinner cruise is sort of like going to a niece or nephew's wedding reception. It was a diverse crowd. Urban, suburban, younger, older, black, white, brown. There was a live DJ, who tried to cater to the diversity of the passengers. The food was good...sort of like good hotel conference or reception food, except that it was served rather tepid. Our server was excellent. It was lovely being out on a bigger boat on the lake. I always wanted to check out the Odyssey experience. And now I have. I'm not sure what I think they could do better. I think it tries to be all things to all people, but lacks a distinct point of view...so, rather than being GREAT at doing one specific kind of experience, it ends up being good at being a general experience.
