Murphy's Bleachers - Chicago

This sports bar across from Wrigley Field has its roots in the 1930s, with Ernie's Bleachers, a drive-up hot dog stand that sold beer by the pail. Ernie Pareti rebuilt it into a real tavern during World War II.

Ok spot. Sucked that I wasn’t able to smoke a vape OUTSIDE ON THE PATIO. Really consider changing that and it would be better . Besides that has the better Guinness but still not as good as the east coast stuff.

My rating is based on the atmosphere, not the food. It has that historic Wrigley feeling. Def need to experience at least once when the Cubs are in town. Food was not great, but the staff was friendly. My burger was very over cooked. Maybe it was just an off day?

What a staple of Chicago. From the Hanson sweater to the atmosphere. This place has it all. The food is amazing. The tots are the choice to have with the famous burger. I will be back sometime.
