I wanna start of by saying the gentleman that took care of us at our table was amazing to us. I went when they had the valentine's day package roses were perfect champagne as well but I felt like the food was more eehh vegan friendly no offence but I wish I could've saw the menu instead but I wanted to give it being my first time and stuff. The drinks were perfect the salad eehh 6/10 the steak was great give it a 8.5/10

Celebrated my son's 12th birthday at the Metropolitan in December of 2021 and I look forward to celebrating his 13th this year as well! The staff was absolutely wonderful, the food was delicious and the view was amazing!

My friends and I went to The Metropolitan last week on a Friday night. It’s situated on the 67th floor of the Sears (yes, I said Sears) Tower. Overall, the atmosphere was a little low energy with kind of a weird vibe, which is probably the case given it is an office building in the Loop on a weekend night. I bet happy hour is more the time to go. If it were me, next time, I’d sit at the bar or in the actual dining room. The drinks were really good. We all ordered several off the pre-made menu. As a group, we got a couple appetizers including the fried pickles and calamari. Both very good. As a main, I got the steak frites which were good, but not the best I ever had. Which is what everyone else in my group said about their meal. Overall, for the price, I think there are better options for restaurants than this place. It was really good, but not 100% sold. As mentioned, I would do a happy hour cocktail and apps after work next time. The view is really pretty. 😍
