Update: food is still awesomely good and they renovated the walk and changed some decoration. I’m posting pics of the food this time, it is a must!!!! Original review: Authentic Thai food in Chicago. Tried not alone, but with Thai friends, and we were all amazed by the quality, the flavor, and the price of the food! I am now a regular at Me Dee!

Good food; but on my last visit it took forever. The English-language menu (including the one available online and on take-out apps) is missing a lot that's offered on the Thai menu.

This place is honestly lit! Like, for real, it's good. It's open very late, and I love that.

This is the best Thai restaurant in Chicago hands down. My wife and I moved here from the east coast and have tried over 15 thai places in the city but most were just mediocre, until we found this place. Place the is small and cozy but the food is amazing which is why we keep coming back!

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s good, it’s cheap, the people are friendly. I have also been ordering my food with no MSG for years. Every time… “OK, no MSG in that!” Tonight I called to put in an order and someone, for a change, told me there’s MSG in the curry sauce. OH, REALLY. So after years of telling me there’s none in my food, there suddenly is? While I appreciate the honesty, it should have happened a lot sooner.
