Marisol - Chicago

Lula Cafe chef/owner Jason Hammel does double duty by taking the reins at Marisol, located in the space formerly occupied by Wolfgang Puck's restaurant. Situated on the first level of the MCA, Marisol serves as a neighborhood coffee spot, or an art-filled destination for dinner and drinks.

It's surrounded by an immersive art environment by artist Chris Ofili as diners enjoy table service with a full bar and private dining space, or counter service with communal tables that form the Street, a community work space to plug in or meet friends.

The restaurant serves brunch through dinner service.

Marisol restaurant at CAM is amazing! The food was creative and delicious. But ….the service was extraordinary! Everyone was friendly and informative. And, everyone worked as a team! Kyle, the manager, is responsible for that. He spoke to customers at every table and served customers too ! Kyle is a rock star and Marisol was lovely.

I had the Marisol Salad with chicken on the side. The chicken was completely dry and they charged me $7 for the chicken. The lettuce was soggy and was starting to rot. It was very overpriced for what you got.
