Machine: Engineered Dining & Drink

Machine: Engineered Dining & Drink - Chicago

From the team behind Headquarters Beercade comes this highly ambitious project combining global fare, high-concept cocktails and an in-house floral program.

Machine: Engineered Dining & Drink, located on the bustling Division Street strip in Wicker Park, showcases the refined, yet home-styled cuisine of Executive Chef Trevor Hoyte (W-City Center Chicago, Lakeshore Sport & Fitness, Ara-on, Sheraton Chicago). His signature style blends classic French technique with global flavors and accent from his rich, Caribbean heritage.

Highlights on the menu range from shrimp "risotto" in coconut milk, gnocchi with braised oxtails, and a share-able braised pigtails dish with toasted hazelnuts, cauliflower purée, grapes and citrus-braised endives.

A comprehensive cocktail program by Aneka Saxon (The Violet Hour) pairs well with the food menu. They're bold and flavorful and several options are share-able such as Breakfast at Tiffany's (gin, watermelon, blackberry, lime, luster dust, served in a diamond). The cocktails' stemwear and presentation are spectacular.

What sets Machine apart from the many outstanding eateries around town is its unique in-house floral program. There's an actual staff of professionals who help guests select the perfect floral presentation for their table. There's also an antique floral cart that visits each table with arrangements as well. It's ideal for those celebrating special occasions such as anniversaries, bridal showers or birthdays.
