Lyric Opera: Sarah and Peer Pedersen Room

I was a bit underwhelmed. The service was okay and the food was okay. Not too different from an average banquet hall meal. My wife said her dish was barely cold though it shouldn't have been and her salad looked below average. If Google had half stars I would rate this as 2 1/2.

Fantastic Pre fix menu perfect for a meal before the Opera

This restaurant had a delicious prix fixe menu with chef-curated options. Everything is excellently prepared and portioned to be filling, but not so heavy that you cannot stay up through the performance! Our server and bartender was very warm, kind and knowledgeable and we were very happy with the service and food. I'd love to give this restaurant 5 stars but, unfortunately , the host saw us for our ages (25 and 28,) rather than just normal patrons. We were made very aware this is a higher priced establishment and there were only a couple of 'bar tables' avilible. She also suggested we may want to go to the less expensive bistro upstairs. That kind of sat sour on our palettes, but did not keep us from ordering the dessert in advance!
