Welcome to La Fontanella Ristorante! Our journey began in 2000 when chef and owner Sal Stillo turned his dreams of owning a restaurant into reality. He came to America at 8 years old with hopes of living the “American dream”. Sal was born in Sant’Andrea, Calabria and has had a passion for the culinary art since a young boy.
He began his career making pizzas and eventually moved onto catering. He held a position as the Head Chef at Colonial Manor, a catering hall in Old Tappan New Jersey, for 10 years. In 2000, Sal and his wife Cathy opened La Fontanella and have since expanded their restaurant with the addition of a private party room. Since 2000, La fontanella has been providing Rockland County with delicious, authentic Italian food and excellent customer service. Planning a special occasion? Give us a call.
