Had a business lunch here and they were able to accommodate 11 of us and the food and service was fantastic! Very good Old fashions and not everyone makes those well. We'll be back when I'm back in town. Hey, you can teach old dogs new tricks. New to reviews. Thanks! Support good businesses!

Great experience, and great server who made the experience wonderful. Food was amazing. Had the brisket special and Half slab ribs. Do not hesitate to get either. So good. Also had the garlic mash(yum). Will be back soon.

Very good burgers! You get the option to have it cooked your way (highly recommend medium rare for an extra juicy burger). Brioche bun is very soft, and the option to add raw, grilled, or crispy onions is very complimentary. Side of a baked potato, you can't go wrong there. I just truly enjoyed this meal. $17.29 for the whole thing is pretty worth it.

A throwback to a simpler time of having big dinners with family and/or friends, L. Woods continues to serve heaping helpings of delectable deliciousness. My last second decision of whether to enjoy their skirt steak or baby back ribs had no wrong answer. I went with the ribs which were fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy. My dinner companion relished each bite of her BBQ brisket and perfectly seasoned fries that gave my baked potato a run for its money in yum too. Making a reservation led to no waiting on the busy Friday night, and a great server had us forgetting how full it was.

We had the best experience at L Woods last Sunday when we went for dinner. First of all the restaurant itself has such a warm cozy feeling. I had the ribs which were outstanding, my daughter had the fried chicken which she said was delicious and my husband had Walleye which was perfect too. Besides our meals being great , the service was some of the best we’ve ever experienced. Our server was Jim P and he was so accommodating. Wow. We were blown away. We never had to ask for anything. He brought us everything we needed and he was extremely nice too. All in al we highly recommend this great place. We will definitely be returning. Thanks L Woods. Kathleen Reed

This Lettuce Entertain You restaurant does everything somewhere between very competently and superbly, even take away. It's always our favored choice, offering the best of upscale casual restaurant experiences. We've been visiting for many years. Burgers are delightful, particularly the brisket burger medium rare. Ribs and chicken are bathed in the most delicious barbecue sauce around and the combo plate can't be surpassed. Trout and whitefish and Friday fish fry are as good as one could want. Their twice-baked potato, their brown and crispy fries, their perfectly steamed vegetables, their daily specials, their . . . oh, everything we have here is wonderful. Tomato bisque soup is not to be missed. All known staff members, particularly Steven at the bar and Patrick in management go well beyond the necessary, performing admirably. Always good food, good service. A place for families or for a date Update, 7/5/21 Today for the first time in a year, we were back, seated inside. We sat in the bar area, which is not a big deal, but while the food was still awesome and brought a smile to my face, the waiter left much to be desired. He made sure the table behind us had constant refill on their water, paid attention to them, but in the time my mother was seated, I parked the car and came in, we still waited to get water. He never came to refill our glasses, though he did refill other glasses at other tables. Also, while I don't mind being referred to as girl, my mother. Who is 97 was not thrilled with being addressed that way. I wonder how he would feel if he were out with his mother, or grandmother and the waiter referred to them as girls. Evaluate your customers and address them accordingly.
