Kitchen + Kocktails - Chicago
Kitchen + Kocktails is a good time; from 
the moment you step in the door, you know this is a place that is going to make you smile. There's an emphasis upon Southern cooking -- like fried chicken and greens -- but the menu goes further than that.
Let's start with the basics, the Southern-influenced dishes. In addition to the fried chicken and greens, there are also Cajun Crab Cakes, Fried Pickles and Seafood Gumbo. But even the chicken is presented with a twist: different flavors, some trending, and some new ways of seasoning this perennial favorite: you can have your chicken Southern Fried, or flavored Nashville Hot, Asian Hennessy, Jerk, or Smothered.
For those looking for healthier options, there's a TRUE Vegan Bowl without protein, with fish, with shrimp or with fix and shrimp.
Waffles, which you might want as a side to your chicken, comes in a variety of preparations: butter pecan, peach cobbler, chocolate chip, cinnamon rolls, banana pudding and Oreo.
This is a fun place, and so, of course, there are some fun drink options.
