Ikram/The Red Box - Chicago
Upscale designer clothing boutique was a mainstay in the Gold Coast for more than 10 years. It was the spot to shop for Chicago's female elite, from the likes of Mellody Hopson and Desiree Rogers to First Lady Michelle Obama. New River North location should continue to attract the same. Here, there's also a tiny cafe called The Red Box, certain to be a fave among the "ladies who lunch" crowd.
The cafe at ikram is based on simple principles: farm-to-table food, clean and healthy preparations to maximize flavors. Our menu changes daily, based on what produce and other goods are available at farmers' markets, the Green City Market, or other local vendors.
