Hopleaf Bar - Chicago
The comfortable Andersonville beer lounge draws the suds enthusiast for its more than 200 selections. Also, all menu items complement the beer.

Really enjoyed my time in this place. Friendly staff, good choice of well kept beers. Didn't eat but the food looked and smelled delicious. EDIT: Ate in Hopleaf this time around. Delicious.
We went to Hopleaf for a quick bite to eat. We ate outside on the patio. It was a beautiful day and it is a really nice space. Our server was great and our food was good. Great selection of beers and ciders. I would definitely go back again.
The best selection of the most sought after beers in town. Lots of great Belgians and American craft beers. The mussels and frites are the classic pro move in the food department, but pretty much everything is great. Also, they have a remarkably strong dessert game, out of the ordinary for a beer hall.
It’s just the best beer bar in the entire city of Chicago and maybe one of the best beer bars in the entire nation. The food and the ambience are wonderful. There are zero TVs so it’s all about great beer and great conversation. If you haven’t been you should go.
I hate writing reviews like this and haven't done it before, but it's intended to be a PSA to anyone looking to eat at Hopleaf, with the intention of...
Such a well decorated place! The cocktails are great as well. Good location on Clark Street. We had a good time, but we got there around 8:45 and we’re given a menu. No one told us that the kitchen closed at 9. By the time they came back and we asked to order, it was 9:02… but they offered a free drink to make up for it. I’ll be back!
Solid spot to grab drinks. Food selection is somewhat limited in my opinion. I mean. This is more of a gastropub than it is a restaurant, but I was hoping...
This place is huge...... There is almost always a spot somewhere within this sprawling bar. The beer selection is great but the food is hit or miss. There...
classic trash bar up front with a high quality dining experience in the back. This place is also deceptively huge with tons of seating while still feeling intimate. You must be 21+ to go in this establishment at any/all times. Thair cider selection also is rad and I appreciate a place that has stuff for those who cannot drink beer.
