We love to eat here when visit my son and his wife. The food is always great. Our favorite is the spicy potatoes with aoli. This time we went for brunch and there were more breakfast items on the menu. All excellent! We like this place so much that we had their rehearsal dinner there. It was fantastic!

I rarely give out 5-star reviews, but this restaurant deserves 5 stars. I've been to a number of Spanish restaurants in US, and Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba makes the best paella. There are several different combinations to choose from - chicken, beef, seafood or vegetarian. We ordered the seafood paella, which is the original and most classical choice. It is made of spring beans, squid, scallop and shrimp. The texture of seafood combines very well with the crisp of spring beans. For $38, you get a large plate of paella which serves 2~3 people. The only downside is that it takes 40~50 minutes to serve. Besides paella, other items on the menu are also reasonably priced and well-made. Reservation is typically required at the restaurant, as it is very popular among locals.

Tapas is just a fun concept and Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba delivers! All of the food was really tasty! We order several small plates and the paella. The paella takes a while which they explained and by time we got it we were full. However it was wonderful to take home for leftovers! 4 stars because all of the sangria was watered down and I've had better from this place. Overall a fun meal!

One of the best tapas places I’ve ever tried. The service was fantastic. the food was excellent. I couldn’t take pictures of all our plates since every time a new plate came we devoured it. The food was so so good. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates and Spanish octopus! come hungry.

I've been here a few times and it's consistently excellent! Drinks, food, music, and staff = superb! I'm so thankful to have this gem in the neighborhood.

I’ve been going to Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba since I moved to Chicago 10 years ago. I’ve always loved their food and atmosphere! And consider it one of the best places to have dinner or brunch with a group of friends. However, I was very disappointed by my latest experience. They now charge you for bread which is a STAPLE of Spanish dining. They also removed the olive oil bottles from the table which is another key to a tapas Spanish dinner. If you are a tapas Spanish restaurant, charging for bread and removing olive oil feels like such a cheap move to cut your costs and diminish the dining experience. Very disappointed… hope you change it.

I can't say enough about our experience with Cafe BaBa Reeba. We recently had my bridal shower here and the coordinator was nothing but helpful and accommodating. She made this process easy breezy. Because of the Chicago marathon we had to come early and I had to get ready in our private area and the staff was extremely helpful with finding working outlets, etc. Myself and our guests had the best time and it's all thanks to the staff and coordinator for their amazing service and hospitality. I will recommend for any private event!

My favorite restaurant!!! I've been here for Easter brunch one year, for valentines day a couple of years, and once in a while just because I love the food so much. They always have amazing wine selections and a lot of gluten free options. They used to have a whole gluten free menu, but they recently took it away which I'm kinda disappointed about because having a full menu of gluten free options was nice without having to see everything else I was missing out on. But maybe that's just me. I'm still rating 5 stars because the menu thing is just a personal opinion.
