We didn’t get a reservation so we tried walk in at 530 on a Friday night. Luckily there were seats left. We ordered watermelon salad, pork belly, and half chicken. WOW. Everything we ate was better than the dish before. It was all so, so good. The whipped ricotta toast, Brussel sprouts, burger, salmon, and gnocchi were all out of this world. I will 1000000% be going back. Pro tip- sit at the bar and watch them cook! We had Derek, Bobby, and Mitchell cooking and had the absolute best time. Wonderful chefs and made the experience all the more enjoyable.

The dinner experience at Gather was outstanding! Definitely one of the best in Chicago. While they say they set aside a few tables for walk-ins, I would highly recommend making a reservation. We asked to be seated on the patio, which is beautiful. Service was great all around, from the moment we walked in. My personal favorite was the Raviolo, but I also recommend the crispy brussel sprouts and the burger. I will definitely be back very soon!

Angelique, our server, was absolutely fantastic. Her recommendations were very good and she was warm and friendly. The Raviolo appetizer was terrific, and the sauce really brought the dish together, we all loved it. We also had the crispy Brussels sprouts on the recommendation of the table next to us, also fantastic. I had the pork shoulder entree was fall off the bone tender and the corn that came with it was very good. The dish balanced sweet and spicy very well. My mom and her partner had the half chicken which was also very good. We rounded off the evening by having a mixed berry desert that was also terrific.
