Very good service but the food was really quite bland. Maybe it was a bad night for the kitchen? The ambiance was also quite lovely.

This place is fun even if you don’t drink alcohol. Their mock tail menu is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Can’t speak to the food, but drinks, atmosphere, and service are all top notch. I plan on coming back anytime I’m in Chicago. If you’re within an hours distance it’s well worth taking a detour.

Nice spot with great decor and vibes. Compared to the fantastic options nearby in the Fulton Market area, though, I wouldn't say it's a must-go. I went here...

Not as nice as the first time I went a few years ago. We were seated right next to the hostess stand and didn't have much room or privacy. If I moved the wrong way I was bumping into the hostess. Last time I went we were greeted with a free drink to have while picking out our drinks, but they didn't do that this time. Drinks were still good and the server was pleasant but not overly attentive.

A few years ago, I 've heard from this bar and their impressive cocktail. So I bought their book (nice ideas, but very difficult). Now I decided to travel to Chicago for holiday. When I was here, I tried to get a place at this location. First of all this is not a "Cocktail-Bar", this is maybe restaurant with some fancy drinks. They have no bar! A Cocktail-Bar is in the basement and called "the office". The only way to get in, is to make an online reservation. I where at the office (with the same reservation system + 50$), on the way to I asked for a place on the Aviary later. I heard "No we are full". Then I walked trough an half empty Aviary to the basement . After a few drink, I have to go because of new reservations. (Only a few persons were inside the office). So i walked through an half empty or less Aviary Bar and asked again, if I can have a place. They denied it again. In an empty location? I think there is a better choice than this even in Chicago!

Simple to complex. We had the 3 course cocktail progression & thought it was a unique experience if you are looking for a cool showcase cocktails We were seated promptly & they were busy. Drinks were excellent! I would do the a la carte next time, but overall it was a great experience.

What an AMAZING experience. This is a location that has been on my bucket list for years and it lived up to the hype. First of all, the interior is just so simple but elegant. You walk in and everything is clean, organized, and minimalistic. The seating is super comfy and the tables have more than enough room to host many drinks. On to the main event, the alcohol. What UNIQUE drinks. Between presentation and flavors these mixologists knock it out of the park. I think our favorite drink was Oh Hell Yeah Butter followed by the A Little Sassafras. That being said, there were definitely some drinks that didn't live up to the hype or price tag - but I chalk that up to the willingness of the staff to be so experimental, not everything can be perfect. The one nitpick I would have is that I felt like our main server didn't really have a good handle on how to guide our experience. Every drink we ordered he raved about when in reality he could have done a much better job in explaining the flavor profiles and setting expectations.

The drinks obviously were incredible. But moreso than that the staff. Hunter, Ivan, and Albert were absolutely fantastic. Super authentic, obviously love the space. Happy to have them here and hope they serve me in the future. What an awesome experience.
