Jonathan Fox has jumped onto the doughnut trend with this sweet offering in River North. Firecakes specializes in from-scratch, small-batch doughnuts, using traditional recipes with creative twists. Some of the flavors include maple-glazed pineapple & bacon; lemon verbena meringue and coconut cream.
There are additional locations in Lincoln Park, Oak Park and the Loop. There's also a food truck serving doughnuts called "Billy the Truck."
