Empty Bottle

I have never seen a bad show here. The sound is always top notch, the acts they book are lots of fun and are not necessarily mainstream. I have seen a lot of bands here before they have blown up big and sell out larger venues. Staying on the bleeding edge of the music scene is a tough thing to do and Empty Bottle never disappoints.

A co-worker told me about the Empty Bottle so I came to see a show by Pillow Queens. They were great, but their opening was not. Anyways, cool local space....

We have spent many an evening here dancing the night away. It’s a great place for friends to reconnect or meet new people. There’s very few places in Chicago that feel like the empty bottle- it is definitely one of a kind and not to be replicated! Great staff as well.

First time at the Empty Bottle last night for Mndsgn. Drinks were good. Music & sound was awesome. It was such a chill environment. Definitely am going to come back for more good times.

Came in on a rare quiet night this time around. It felt pretty novel just talking with the Blake, chillest bartender around, and enjoying a few new beers at the bar. Empty bottle is 5/5 with music and without, who knew.

Way cool place. If you like music and beer, you'll love this place. It's unpretentious and satisfying.

Legendary dive to see bands on the rise. Shows do make for a bit of a late night, but the Bottle’s intimacy and authenticity are hard to beat. Get there early to sit adjacent to the stairs and relax. Play pool or visit their famous photo booth in the front/lobby. Best show I’ve seen there was probably Franz Ferdinand on their debut American tour. Essential Chicago venue!
