Elixir Andersonville - Chicago
A spin-off of the original Boystown location, Elixir opens a second location in Andersonville, bringing with it an impressive portfolio of cocktails and cuisine.
The sophisticated watering hole is situated next to sister restaurant Replay & Bourbon as well as long-time neighborhood favorite Marty's. It offers brunch and dinner (Elixir shares a kitchen with Replay), and most items are smaller bites meant to pair with the drinks.
From crispy pork belly, Swedish meatballs and curried deviled eggs to basil-pesto flatbread, Elixir's menu is meant for sharing. The cocktail menu is expansive and well thought out. There are classics (Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Sazerac), highballs (pure whiskey sour, 3 rums and coke) and signature drinks like the Tito's sherry cobbler, Mandarin sour and a seasonal Old Fashioned.
