Chill spot with great music, nice and helpful staff, good food, good drinks (booze and booze-free). The sweet and sour eggplant dish and zero proof were both pleasantly delicious and perfect summery items. Sure it's extremely busy when there's a show at Thalia, but I enjoyed my time.

READ UPDATED REVIEW BELOW ORIGINAL: Brunch is getting better with the help of menu changes. Dinner....debatable. mussels are awesome and so are the oysters. They are very creative with the dishes, but only complaint is sometimes they can over salt food. If that can be fixed, so can this rating! Update: August 2022 Holy menu overhaul!!!! I asked to fix the amount of salt, but did not expect this! I officially changed my review from 4 to 5 stars. They completely changed the menu and I must say, it does not disappoint! My biggest fear of eating a dish full of pure salt has vanished. Great service from host to the all-star female management team. Still serving very creative dishes and even more mouthwatering options to choose from.

Probably my new favorite restaurant in Chicago. Nothing beats Dusk's for the quality, atmosphere, and value, it's the perfect combo! Every dish we ordered...

My wife and I booked Dusek’s for our rehearsal dinner. It was a great decision. Our booking manager was communicative, and answered all of our questions, promptly. The staff were extremely attentive and made the space look beautiful. We had many diners that had specific dietary restrictions. The staff consulted with us to figure out where they would be sitting, and had the kitchen bring out individual dishes that fit their needs. Most importantly, the food was amazing. Our party size was 35+. However that did not prevent the kitchen from serving dishes, in bulk that everyone loved. A number of our guests from out of town noted it was the best meal they’ve had in decades. My wife and I couldn’t have been happier with the decision to book Dusek’s.

I have been to Dusek's a few times and each time it has been great! My favorite meal was the Chicago restaurant week menu that they served in 2022. Every dish we had was incredibly fresh and delicious. We had - Pate - Apple salad - Parppadelle - Beet Salad - Trout - Tempura Cauliflower - Rockfish - Kentucky Butter Cake - More things I forgot! Everything was great, but the hands down fan favorite was the Kentucky butter Cake. I am not a dessert person, but wow it was amazing. Everyone in our group thought so as well. We even debated ordering more and taking it home. This place is great if you want to get casual drinks, get together with friends, a date, or have a very nice meal. I would definitely recommend that people head over to Pilsen to check this place out.

The food was amazing! Every single bite was great. I had the heirloom pork chops and they were divine. The caramel butter cake tasted great but the crust was slightly hard which made it difficult to cut but still was amazing. The tempura cauliflower was incredible it somehow had a nutty taste without the use of any nuts. The atmosphere was good and our server knew the menu well and gave great input.

Great quality for the price-food is very tasty. I like the sharable plates. Atmosphere is both casual and classy wrapped up together. We really enjoyed our evening there.

We went here for the second time tonight and not only was the food amazing but our server Andy was top notch!!! He not only had cute dog pics to share but we were going to a show at Thalia Hall and he showed us the secret entrance into the show that helped us skip the line AND he told us the most amazing secret that we could order drinks from Dusek and bring them to the show. Game changer. Life change 10 out of 10. Cannot recommend this place more.

Came here for brunch on Mother's Day and sat at the bar! Food was fantastic, I mean believe what you read about their food, even though it was only brunch...
