We stepped out for a quick lunch. It was a curious, functional, sort of atmosphere. The food was good, but the atmosphere akin to a subway newsstand. More than fast food, but less than a restaurant. If all you want is to refuel your stomach, this place is fine.
The warm pita bread was the best. The gyros were good but I have had better cooked lamb. The salad was good. I liked the atmosphere. My wife said the rice was excellent. The food portions were so large , we ended up taking a lot of it home.
First place at this establishment didn't know what to expect and wow the selections of food the smells of the ribs cooking overwhelming for the senses. I had the Italian beef which was really really good my friend had the half slab of ribs which were awesome had a taste of that wow are they good. All in all I recommend this place highly than anybody wants to try some good good cooking. The food selections are insane they have something for everyone one thing I will say is that barbecue smell was awesome in that place
First of all, never force your US customers to accept your wrong food or product in any situation. I've eaten all over USA restaurants, when I see something wrong with a food it means it's my health and the health of others. The leftover food that will be served to the customer will not bring you up to the proper levels. Nor to good results. A very poor way to bring old food to cook, heat it up and serve it to anyone. I ordered full ribs and they were cooked within 3 minutes. Or heated from morning cooking, and their rice is undercooked. I've never seen behavior like this, they're returning the same piece saved at the bottom and new at the top. I ate good ribs all over. guess what. They call by voice: fresh ribs? Aren't you ashamed of this situation? This proves you wrong. Unfortunately. I left my plate unfinished because I didn't feel okay eating the wrong food. Last time and this is a final warning not to serve leftover food to anyone. Even for the homeless. We are human, and health and safety come first. Now good luck for your business. And make sure that your employees behave well towards every customer who enters your restaurant. Because we are paying money to be well. Not to be disrespected. To be healthy not to be sick. Pay attention
Delicious food, awesome service, wonderful atmosphere. Definitely a new go-to when in Skokie/Chicago, IL. First time here and Zach was super nice. He gave us our beverages on the house because we were first timers. If you're ever in Skkoie on Main &McCormick, stop in and say Hi👋🏼to Zach and the crew.
