David Morton and Michael Kornick open a chef-driven BBQ joint in the space formerly occupied by the legendary Gennaro's Italian restaurant. There are 40 seats inside and 50 seats on the back patio, and MK Executive Chef Erick Williams oversees the menu of mostly smoky meats.

Highlights include St. Louis spare ribs, Kansas City burnt ends, veal breast, Chicago-style rib tips and The Bacon Bar, which features items like slow-cooked strips of bacon, BLT sliders and bacon-Deviled eggs. There is also a daily signature cocktail, so take note.

Delicious, tasty BBQ cooked to perfection! Tender, meaty and juicy. The food is REAL SMOKED/PIT BARBECUED. You can taste the smokiness, and the Links are juicy and the right amount of spicy! Highly recommend, didn't get a chance to try the Chicken, or Bread Pudding they were already out of it, and that was during my lunchtime around 12:45pm. First time trying and definitely won't be the last time visiting again!

We got the smoked meat sampler with ribs (very good), pulled pork (good), chopped chicken (good), and brisket (okay). We also got three sides of biscuits (good), baked beans (okay), Mac and cheese (okay). So, I'd go back to get their ribs and biscuits. The service was great and we sat on their back patio. We went on a very hot day and the inside did not seem to have air conditioning so being inside would have been uncomfortable.

Food was good, bar b q options were very good. They had great food and drink specials. We ate outdoors on a patio and it was very nice. Drinks weren't great. Probably our choices, given that the food was so good.

My favorite BBQ spot in the city. Great BBQ and not pretentious about it. I usually go for the ribs and sliced brisket. Great corn bread. Do not underestimate the chicken wings. Reasonable prices; the 3- or 4-meat combo is perfect for two people (with leftovers).

Food was very good service sucked. Had to return twice ! Missing side, missing napkins and utensils Girl at front proceeded to blame back of house. Shame because food was good . Same problem 2 different times. Going elsewhere now on .
